As you may have noticed I've been away for quite awhile! Well I believe I've gotten everything settled that has kept me from posting and visiting all my wonderful readers. I've really missed you guys! I really appreciate that everyone has continued to come by though.

Well, I'm still in a bit of a reading slump and I have a ton of unread and overdue books from the library but I haven't actually managed to get any book reading done this month unfortunately. Life hasn't actually been all that hectic however, it's just that I've been on a bit of a Spuffy (Spike/Buffy) fan fiction kick for awhile. Honestly, some of those that write them are so incredibly creative that they could become bestselling authors.

Okay, home update: the fiddler crab population has dwindled down since I came back from Georgia though I do find one or two in the house every now and then. Our housemates (my husband's cousin and his wife) bought a new house and moved out so it's finally just my husband, me, and the cat (very weird not having their dogs around anymore by the way). It's very different and I'm still trying to adjust lol. Oh and I have a birthday party for my husband and a house warming party coming up for us before too much longer too (any suggestions on what I should ask the hosts to put down for would be very appreciated!).
(Above the petting tank, yes those are baby manna rays and baby sharks)
Remember me being in Georgia? Well while we were up visiting my husband and mine's families, my husband's best friend came with us. It was his first trip to Georgia so we kind of played tourist and I actually got to see and do quite a few things that I hadn't before. Our major things were spending a day in Atlanta going to the Centennial Olympic Park, CNN center, The Georgia Aquarium (which is MUCH bigger and more interesting than the Tennessee Aquarium by the way), and The Atlanta Historical Center. The latter we didn't get to spend as much time at but we did get to tour the famous Swan House while there! Unfortunately, they didn't allow you to take photos inside (a crying shame because I really wanted one of that free floating spiral staircase) but we took tons of the gorgeous outside. We took took tons of pictures so to keep this post from going on forever I'll only post a few here and then later during the week post more!
(Here is the entrance to the Swan House)
(Darren and me in the front of the Swan House, well back actually but it's where everyone comes in at)(Playing the Lady of the Manor lol. This is the staircase at the very front of the house facing the road)
Okay, well that's enough for today. I hope you enjoyed them!!!
I love the pictures - especially the Swan House. Thanks for sharing them!

ReplyDeleteGlad everyone enjoyed the pics! I'll put up some more really soon. Having the new dog (trying to stop him from chewing everything in sight when I turn my back) and getting the house spotless for the first family get together at my house is taking up a lot of my time lately. Thanks again guys!
