- I'm a huge Disney nut but I've never been to any of the Disney amusement parks
- I love old musicals
- Two of my favorite scents are kind of unusual, new books and new money
- I hate onions and bellpeppers more for their texture than taste (although they do taste bad too)
- I'm always thinking about something, my brain never seems to just shut off
- I'd really like to travel and see the world one day
I'd really rather not tag anyone who doesn't feel like playing so if this sounds like fun, you're tagged!
I feel the same way about the texture of onions. Do you have a favorite musical? I really enjoy musicals--old and new.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a great weekend.
If I had to choose it would be My Fair Lady but I watcged two great ones this weekend: Me and My Gal with Gene Kelly and Judy Garland & High Society with Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, and Bing Crosby.
ReplyDeleteThe old musicals are great.. especially when seen with the old original casts!! I've always loved Gene Kelly, and wasn't Christopher Plummer handsome as all get out in Sound of Music?! (woof) and Yul Brynner in King and I.. they don't get much better.. love them all.
ReplyDeleteI agree Chrisopher Plummer was a good looking guy. Still is for an older gentlemen and he's such a great actor too! Edelweis is my favorite song from Sound of Music.
ReplyDeleteI love "My Fair Lady," but I can't stand the movie. We did it my freshman year in high school and I had SUCH a crush on the boy who played Professor Higgins. He could actually sing all of the Higgins songs in the beautiful tenor for which they were created... not that yucky "talk in rhythm" thing that Rex Harrison did.
ReplyDeleteAnd can I just say how much I love the look of shirt-tie-dress-slacks? After doing so many period costumes shows, I have been utterly ruined for today's drab fashions on men (Although, really, there's no need to go back to men in tights. Ever.)
