First Teaser Tuesday

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.

  • Let the book fall open to a random page.

  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

  • Please avoid spoilers!

I'm reading The Billboard Book of Number One Hits by Fred Bronson:

In 1964 he [Jim Morrison] moved to Los Angeles and attended UCLA, where he selected a name for an imaginary band he wanted to form someday. Aldous Huxley's The Door of Perception served as inspiration, as did a passage written by William Blake: "There are things that are known and things that are unknown, in between the doors."

~ # 227 (and pg) Light My Fire by The Doors.
