Teaser Tuesday-Stephen King

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

THE STEPHEN KING ILLUSTRATED COMPANION
King says, "Johnny is different from other violent, paranoid mystics in only one way: He really can see the future. Only don't they all say that?" (Speaking about his main character from The Dead Zone)

  4. I visited Maine once and saw King's house. It's sorta a victorian looking house.. the iron gate has an iron spider web in each corner and a bat on top... now that's weird!

  6. Cherry: That's what I thought too when I saw the cover!

Nise': Me either actually. I went through a phase where he was all I would read for a long time though.

Jlshall: It's a really neat book!

Deslily: I was a big fan when I was 13-14 and that was the only reason I would have liked to have gone to Maine. I've seen pictures of his house online though. You're right, it is an odd house but it suits him!

Carolsnotebook: You have got to read The Shing and The Stand. The latter is one of my top 3 most re-read books.
