I've been in a bit of a reading slump after tearing through all of Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress and almost all of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series so I've been taking some time off to watch TV. I was going to wait to watch all of The Vampire Diaries after I read the books but I really didn't like the first book so I just skipped to the show. I'm in love! Such a great show! However, now I'm done with those and I need to get caught up on all the others I'm behind on like Criminal Minds, NCIS, Burn Notice, Lie to Me, and Cold Case. Instead, I picked up a new show lol. It's called The Mentalist and it's got a similar feel to Lie to Me which I also really love. So that's what I'm watching, how about you guys?

I love The Mentalist, but then I love Simon Baker. I can remember him years ago when he was in the Aussie teen drama Heartbreak High.Sigh!
ReplyDeleteI have started watching Ghost Whisper which they are showing over here from the beginning and I am loving it!
Yes! That is a great show. My wife and I love it. We've been watching it from Episode 2 (we missed episode 1 when it aired).
ReplyDeleteI watched a few episodes of Lie To Me, which I also liked, but I haven't stuck with it the way I've stuck with Mentalist.
I've wanted to get into True Blood, but haven't found the time to watch it.
I'm so into the Vampire Diaries(big surprise there,I know) and this season of Mad Men has been particularly good. Most of the good fictional shows that I like are now gone, but am giving No Ordinary Family a chance.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of my Must See TV is mainly competitive reality shows-The Amazing Race,Top Chef: Just Desserts and Project Runway.
I watched the first session of The Mentalist but didn't pick it up again. I love The Vampire Diaries! I won't try reading the books either. Same with Gossip Girl, it's a guilty pleasure for me. Of course, it wouldn't be a happy tv watching week without Bones or Castle.
ReplyDeleteI havent watched these shows, but they do look good. It seems I have too many shows I already watch and can't add any more into the mix lol. I'm obsessed with Mad Men at the moment.

I didn't know about this show until I saw your post. I was supposed to watch Army Wives and True Blood, but up until now, I still haven't found time to do so. Need to fix this soon but I really don't know when...
ReplyDeleteI couldn't finish the first book of Vampire Diaries but I did like what I saw of the show. I may pick it up again and watch on DVD. It was one of the shows that ended up getting sacrificed last year when we narrowed down or view list.
ReplyDeleteI've caught a couple of episodes of The Mentalist and am still not sure what I think. It wasn't one that I took to right away.
This season I'm watching Glee, Chuck, Hawaii 5-O and Boardwalk Empire.
