  1. Did you enjoy HATCHETT as I see you are reading Paulen's other book? I teach that book as a class novel often and the students LOVE it..and so do I. I think all of Gary's books are good! ..and wow, you really get a lot read in a month! I can't wait to read more starting in June because I am retiring with all my time to read, review, and write...wahoo! Happy May Day, Tink!

  2. Bingo: I loved Hatchet the first time I read it... in class as a middle schooler (I believe, it may have been elementary) and my opinion hasn't changed though I have. :) We also read Brian's Winter but I don't remember much about it (I didn't really remember Hatchet that well either which is why I re-read it). I didn't read quite as much as I had hoped in April but I'm still pleased with the number lol. Congrats on retiring and Happy May Day to you too!

  6. Kailana: It was good but not amazing. Maybe since I had just finished The House of Night novels and was still craving them is why I wasn't blown away by it. I will pick up the next book though I still wish Bartholomew was the leading man *sigh*

Alice Teh: You go girl! I just haven't been reading as much lately and I fear May might be even worse for me...

Scrap Girl: Still, 11 is really good! April 2008 I only read 10.

  12. You had a good month, huh. Does this mean that you're done with the House of Marked series? Or is there more after what you've read?

  13. My Blog 2.0 (Dottie): Lol, I hope you like them as much as I did :) Thank you!

Dar: Thanks! I doubt May will be quite as good since I'm kind of in a slight reading slump and I'm going to working on the house soon. I'll come by and check out your wrap-up.

    Toni: Thanks!!! :o)

Naida: Inkheart was a great re-read but I just wasn't that crazy about The Haunting of Hill House.

Melody: Maybe that's it because I certainly didn't put any effort in during April lol. Especially those last two weeks!

Rebecca: Hunted is the last one until October or Novemeber but at least I'm all caught up!
