Library Loot 10

It's loot time again! I'm not sure how much time I'll have for reading this upcoming week since we're moving out of our apartment and staying with my husband's dad until we finish closing on our house. I haven't said much about it because I didn't want to jinx myself but we're buying our first home! I'll try to get some reading done while we're waiting on the inspections and stuff so here is what I recently picked up:

The Winged Colt of Casa Mia by Betsy Byars
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis
Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George
Frightful's Mountain by Jean Craighead George
On the Far Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George
Frightful's Daughter by Jean Craighead George
Acorn Pancakes, Dandelion Salad, and 38 Other Wild Recipes by Jean Craighead George
Kitty Raises Hell by Carrie Vaughn

  4. Moving SUCKS. I think it quite possibly might be my least favorite thing to do...ever (except maybe cleaning the toilets) Especially with all the books I have now...forget it. I'm never moving again!!

BUT congrats on the house!! How exciting!

  6. Congratulations on buying your first home, Jen! That's so exciting--such a nerve-wracking process, isn't it? Hubby and I will have to go through that again in another couple of years or so. The city is planning a big project that will require them to buy out our house. It's still in the planning stages and so we're waiting to see what happens. It's the not knowing that's the hardest.

Seeing Julie of the Wolves in your stacks sure brings back memories! I think I may still have a copy of that one sitting on my shelf. :-)

I hope you enjoy Kitty Raises Hell. It's such a fun series, isn't it?

  9. Fizzy: Thanks! I'm looking forward to it!

Samantha: Hubby has done nothing but complain about how much stuff we have lol. I'll read the last two Kitty's after I've reviewed the first four.

Melody: Definitely! For now I've got up the real estate agent's video tour and two pics of the front of the house. Isn't it adorable?

Stephanie: Omg, tell me about it lol. I haven't been feeling very good so hubby did most of the packing this time. The only problem is I'll have to do the unpacking lol.

Kailana: I really need to read these and last weeks books too.

Wendy: We've got one more inspection and a few other things and we'll be done. Can't wait!!! Hope you get a great deal on your house btw. The only book I've ever read by Ms. George before was My Side of the Mountain but I really loved it so I have high hopes for Julie of the Wolves since it actually won the Newbery instead of being nominated. You're right, the Kitty series is a ton of fun! Not looking forward to reviewing them though lol...

Scrap Girl: Awe, thanks! I'm so glad you came by and enjoyed my little corner of the blogosphere here :)

Alice Teh: Okay, I posted them just for you!

  10. Congrats on the new home! I was wondering about the long list of library books every week, and then I noticed you finished 20 in one month. :)
