Virtual Tour and Pics

Here's a virtual tour of the house we're buying. We'll need to paint every room, including that purple front porch! Any suggestions?

  2. The purple looks more brown to me. But that masterbedroom...I can see why you want to paint that! Other than the paint, the house is just lovely...congratulations!

  4. Nice! Congratulations! I love the pass-through windows from the kitchen. We have those, too, and they're great! And I'm with Nymeth, the purple is kinda cool!

  8. That's a BEAUTIFUL property! I kinda like earth tones so I'm all for brown, beige and everything in between. LOL

  10. Oh yes. Paint that bedroom! Congrats on a new house. We painted everything when we bought our first home. It's a lot of work but SO worth the pain.

  11. Nymeth: Thanks! It's actually not that bad (at least compared to the paint inside) but I'm just not sure if I care for it.

Fizzy: Yeah, it's faded a lot. Lol, yep that pumpkin orange has got to go! You should see what I've christianed the Easter Egg room. It's purple, blue, and yellow with writing all over the walls. Two younger girls (I hope!) must have shared it. Thank you!

Molly: That's what appealed to me. The living room has a beautifully high ceiling too. Oh and I may just take up gardening!

Rebecca & Samantha.1020: Aw, thank you!

Lezlie: Those are my favorite part of the house so far. They need to be sanded and repainted too. Ugh, I'm going to ache for years after we finally get everything painted!

Luanne: Lol, it was actually brighter when it first went on (the paint is in the garage still)...

Wendy: I just adore it and can't wait to start cleaning and painting it. Thank you!

Alice Teh: Thanks! Yeah we like earth tones too but I don't want to do too many in the house.

Scrap Girl: Aw, thanks so much. I hope so too! The neighborhood is so quiet (not many children around at all) and the neighbors are friendly too.

Melody: :o) It wasn't my first choice but I'm still in love with it!

Natasha @ Maw Books: Lol, first thing we're doing don't worry! The Easter Egg bedroom (aka our new guest room) might be the second thing since it's going to be SO hard to get that purple, blue, and yellow paint off.

  14. I really like the color in the master bedroom. I think the porch does need a new color...its too dark...maybe a cream color to bring it to the forefront.

I love the back and front yards...very nice.

    Congrats on the new house.
