All My 2009 Reads/Reviews

Today marks the end of the year 2009 and what a year it has been! I finally got caught up on my reviews after being behind since 2008, I made quite a few new blogging friends (which brings my Google Reader book blogs up to 93 subscriptions), and my husband is working on building me a library! Right this very second he is outside drilling the holes in the wood before he takes them to his aunt’s house to stain them. I’m only getting one wall done right now because that wood is SO expensive but the others will get done soon.

I know lots of people do a favorites of 2009 list but I’ve always had a really hard time picking favorites month-to-month much less overall! So there won’t be a favorites list but here is the complete list of all the books I read in 2009. As you may notice, a couple of the last few do not have reviews to go with them and that’s because I plan on re-reading them sometime in 2010.

To make it less complicated everything is backwards and I'm including links to the reviews over on my Movieholic & Bibliophile Blog. You guys are more than welcome to go over and leave comments on any of these or post links to your reviews of the same book in the comment section.

  8. I love how you broke down what month all the books were read and how many by women and how many by men. I have no patience to go all through my Good Reads and figure it out. LOL I may keep a regular list with dates on there to make it easier. Awesome news about your library Jen! Can't wait to see pics once it's all done. Have a wonderful New Year!

Alice Teh: Don't I know it! Best Birthmas present ever. :)

DesLily: I hope the entire thing is done before summer but I'm just so excited to get one wall done!

Lady T: Happy new year to you too! I really can't wait to start shelving all of these books around here.

Wendy: Aw thanks! I hope you have a happy new year as well!

J.Kaye: Isn't that cute? I found it over on weheartit.com

Toni: I'm a little nervous about sharing my library space with my husband's computer stuff because I know how he likes to take over a space lol. Good luck reclaiming your space and I hope you have a happy new year too!

Naida: It was probably my worst one yet but thanks for saying so lol. I hope your reading year is extra great!

RachaelfromNJ: I keep a simple little notepad doc on my desktop that I just copied and pasted. I also have a hard copy in a notebook for expressily that purpose with the dates read on it. I can't remember where I got the breakdown thing from but it wasn't very hard to do :). Can't wait till the library is done so I can show it off! Hope you have a wonderful New Year too!

Anna: I will, promise! I hope 2010 holds all kinds of wonderful reads for you!
