Library Loot 7

Last week I picked up quite a few things at the library that immediately dug into. I watched Because of Winn-Dixie, Treasure Planet, & The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby then I read Dark Harvest by Lynda Hilburn, Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich, & The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. Now I'm looking forward to digging into these new things:

Baby Take a Bow (VHS)
Challenge to Lassie (VHS)
Charlotte's Web (DVD)
Charlotte's Web (DVD)
Charlotte's Web The Essential Guide by Amanda Li
Adam of the Road by Elizabeth Janet Gray
Ten Cents a Dance by Christine Fletcher
The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

  1. It's been years since I last say a Lassie movie or show. I really loved that dog. And Benji too. :-) Charlotte's Webb is a favorite of mine. I haven't seen the newer version yet though. Enjoy your books and movies.

  3. You know it's funny, just the other day I was thinking how much I'd like to see Charlotte's Web again and you post about it. lol.

I love old Shirley Temple movies. Wish they'd replay them all. I should check my library and see if they have any.

    Great loot Jen!

  4. I haven't watched Lassie in ages either. I read Charlotte's Web for the first time last year (I was a deprived child :P) and I loved it. Though I sort of half-remember an animated movie version from my childhood.

  8. Wendy: Lassie and Benji are probably my favorite furry stars :) Love the original Charlotte's Web more but this one was pretty good as well. Thanks!

Samantha: I'm looking forward to re-reading it :)

Dar: The old one was better but I like the new Charlotte's Web too. Shirley Temple is the greatest isn't she? Thanks.

Nymeth: I got a Best of Lassie tin for Christmas but I wanted to see this one since it's based on the Greyfriar's Bobby legend. LOVED the animated Charlotte's Web!

Melody: Thank you! I bet you'd really like it!

Rebecca: It's very good, not quite as good as the animated one but still a great film.

    Alice Teh: It's definitely a must-watch and a must-read. I just love Lassie :)
