Musing Monday- Talking Bookshelves

This week’s musing asks…

What does your bookshelf (or, what do your bookshelves) say about you to the people who come into your home?

My bookshelves say here's a person who likes a wide variety of genres but seems to really love YA, urban fantasy, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Stephen King!

I have romances, mysteries, classics, and biographies too but I definitely seem to buy and get more books that have ghosts, vampires, werewolves, faeries, etc. in them. Right this very minute I have 327 unread books though ♥

  1. I haven't counted my books...just the unread ones, which were at 166 in Oct. and are now down to 120. But that doesn't count the new ones that have come in and been read.

To check out my varieties and genres and how they came to be:

  2. I don't even want to think about how many unread books I have on my shelves right now...it's way too high and of course, there are so many books I want to buy!

    Here's my musing.

  5. I wouldn't dare count my books to be read as I am sure the number would frighten me.

  6. Bermudaonion: Thank you!

Laurel-Rain Snow: I should have counted all my books before I counted the unread ones but it seemed like too much work lol.

Kristin: Knowing the number certainly does make me wince whenever I add a new book to the shelf...

Lady T: I think my unread outnumbers my read books by a little bit.

Shooting Stars Mag & Vivienne: Lol. It's daunting to say the least.

  7. Hi Jen, I love books about military at the moment, particularly about the U.S. Army. :D Fantasy is all my all-time favorite!
