Teaser Tuesday- Soulless

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us at least two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

SOULLESS BY GAIL CARRIGER
He could not stand Alexia Tarabotti, even if her lovely brown eyes twinkled when she laughed, and she smelled good, and she had a particularly splendid figure.
He hustled his lady guest down the passageway, intent upon getting her into the carriage and out of his presence as quickly as possible.

  10. Shelly: Thank you!

Jennifer: It's a great book. I finished it last night.

Carolsnotebook: You just knew from the very beginning that they were going to fall in love!

Jlshall: Back in London Victorian times if a woman wasn't perfectly pale then she were looked down upon. Thankfully, Lord Maccon doesn't have those kind of standards. He's just kidding himself here...

Ky: I'm trying to talk my husband into picking up Changeless on his way home from work. WANT SO BAD!

    Barbara: Thank you!

Pussreboots: It was even better than I expected.

Nymeth: You should! I have a feeling you would really like it.

Violet: It's worth picking up, promise.
