BTT-Highlights

It’s an old question, but a good one . . . What were your favorite books this year?

List as many as you like … fiction, non-fiction, mystery, romance, science-fiction, business, travel, cookbooks … whatever the category. But, really, we’re all dying to know. What books were the highlight of your reading year in 2007?

I actually have already answered this question in last week’s BTT but here are my favorite favorites out of those: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling, The Harlequin by Laurell K. Hamilton, A Lick of Frost by Laurell K. Hamilton, and All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris.

I hope to read more current books in 2008.

  1. One of these days I'll get to All Together Dead. Ho hum.

When I do up my favorite list it will be comprised of all the books I read this year, regardless of release date. My reading tends to be all over the place anyway. :-)

  3. I need to finish off the HP's series, am currently on #4... And oh, I'm glad to see you are another Laurell K. Hamilton's fan! :)

  4. Actually, I just read "Eat Pray Love" by Liz Gilbert and I LOVED IT.

It's not my normal genre of book, either. I just picked it up because a friend recommended it and most of my romance novels were already packed.

  5. I think I'm the last person on the planet that hasn't read the HP series :(

  7. I can't wait to start reading Sookie. I've been loving the Lily Bard series. And hurray for HP; it was such a good read and series.

  8. Cell was really good, but the ending could have been better. Have you read Veronika Decides to Die?
