So sad. There is no one around now like her. She will be missed for sure.

A very sad day for everyone as Ms. Arthur was a treasure...a brilliant comedic actress, and once again that awful, devastating disease strikes again.....thoughts and prayers with all those who loved her.
ReplyDeleteOh how sad. She was a fabulous actress - I used to watch The Golden Girs at my nan's every Friday night. Thank you for naming our mysterious bird in my scrap page - we didn't have a clue what it was!
ReplyDeleteI just heard about this this morning. So sad!
ReplyDeleteso sad! She really was very funny, though. :) Her work will live on!
ReplyDeleteI used to watch this show when I was little, it was lots of fun.

Lezlie: Amen :(
ReplyDeleteSerena: It was a wonderful show and I've seen her in a few movies as well. She was always amazing!
My Blog 2.0 (Dottie): Mine too.
Bingo: She sure was a treasure :) Cancer is the most awfullest thing :(
Scrap Girl: It was more of my mom and my grandma's show but I just couldn't help but stop and watch when it was on. You're welcome!
Wendy: I've been playing songs that she's sung over the years on and off since I heard.
Kailana: You're right. I sure hope that some TV networks run some of her old stuff in honor of her soon.
Naida: I used to watch it too with my mom. She sure was something.
Oh, this makes me sad. I really enjoyed her acting and sense of humor. She will be missed.
