My library items came in today! I did take back both of my movies unwatched (well I wastched part of the Wonderland one but the quality was so awful I couldn't stand it) from last week and I plan on taking back Napalm and Silly Putty soon too. Of my library items last week I only read Kitty and the Silver Bullet but I plan on reading Secondhand Smoke still.
Davy Crockett, Two Movie Set
The Coffin Dancer by Jeffery Deaver
Baby Take a Bow (VHS)
Steamed by Jessica Conant-Park & Susan Conant
The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi
Dead of the Day by Karen E. Olson
cool library loot!

Is that the cover for the library copy of Dead of the Day? That's cool! Mine looks different.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your library loot! :-)
Cool loot! I've enjoyed Dead of the Day and I hope you will too. The cover I had was different from the one shown here. :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh Davy Crockett! I loved Fess Parker and Buddy Ebsen!
ReplyDeleteoooh good loot. I've never read Pinocchio, only seen the Disney movie (oh how I love Disney), so I'd be interested to see what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteI'll be curious to hear about Dead of the Day by Karen E. Olson.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on Dead of the Day as well as the one by the two authors (Can you tell I've already forgotten the title?) Enjoy your books :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have more luck than I did with Pinocchio...sadly, I was disappointed :(
ReplyDeleteNaida: Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWendy & Alice Teh: Yeah that's a copy of my cover. I think I know the one you two are talking about though. Thanks!
DesLily: I loved Davy Crockett! Buddy Ebsen is the best. My post on the movie will be going up in the next few days.
Rebecca: I'm trying to work my way through the books Disney made into movies (which is a good majority of them). I've heard bad things about Pinocchio so I dunno, we'll see.
J. Kaye: I still have to read Secondhand Smoke lol.
Samantha: Not too sure about Steamed (the two authors) but I'm willing to give it a try. Thanks!
Nymeth: I remember trying to read an adapted version a long, long time ago and not really liking it at all :( I truly hope the translated version is better!
