James Bond

Dr. No was my first and so far, only James Bond film but I liked it a lot more than I expected to. My mom grew up watching the films because my grandma loved them and now Mom can’t stand to watch any of the Bond films lol. Matter of fact I’ve read that “half of the world’s population has seen at least one Bond film” and I just added myself to that list.

So how many Bond films have you seen? Who is your favorite Bond?

Don’t forget to stop by and check out Dr. No!

  2. My husband has read all of the Ian Fleming books that kicked off the franchise. He tells me they are much better than the movies.

  3. I like Daniel Craig!

I have all the Bond books and they're a part of my reading challenge this year. :D

  4. Naida: My husband said they're really good but I haven't made up my mind on whether or not I want to watch the film franchise in order.

Wendy: I've heard that too but I really like Sean Connery so I think it might be a tie if I were to read them.

Alice Teh: I remember you getting them! Looking forward to see what you think. Do you plan on watching the films too?

  5. Definitely watching the movies, Jen! I've watched the latest Daniel Craig ones. I remember watching Pierce Brosnan as well. I need to catch the earliest Bond movies. :D

  6. Up until recently I'd have said that Timothy Dalton was the best Bond, probably just pushing out Sean Connery.

However, after seeing Casino Royale I've switched my vote to Daniel Craig. He has an underlying sense of menace about him - could he kill you with his bare hands and would you like to take the risk?

"A very lovely bit of rough" as we'd say here in the UK!
