100+ Reading Challenge

I don't do a whole lot of challenges even though I should but I joined J. Kaye's 100+ Reading Challenge at the beginning of the year and as of October I completed it. I doubt it, but maybe I can reach 200 by the end of the year (at which point I'll post a list of my 2008 reads)!

If you would like to sign up for 2009's 100+ Reading Challenge, J. Kaye has the info here.

  1. 200 would be an accomplishment of which I would be most jealous! :-)

I'll be doing this Challenge, too. Along with a whole slew of other ones, because I have no self-control when it comes to these things.

  2. I wish you luck, Jen! I had hoped to get in 100 books this year, but I'm not going to make it.

  3. I doubt I can read more than 100 books in a year, haha! I love the button!

All the best to you, Jen! :)

  4. Hi Jen, this looks like a great challenge. I'm already into 113 books this year. And if I were to clear all my backlogs for 2008, I should be finishing about 140 books. Am keeping my fingers crossed... :)

    Happy reading!

  5. Lezlie: I might make it to 150 if I'm lucky. 200 is way too much to even hope for at this point lol. Good luck next year!

Wendy: Well you still managed to read some great ones nonetheless!

    Alice: Congrats!

Melody: I think the most I've read in a year (since I started keeping track) was 164 but I didn't even reach 100 last year so I'm doing good so far!

  6. I was eyeballing the "Write a Novel in October" challenge a few months ago but couldn't do it. This seems more like my speed, however averaging over 8 books a month is stretching it a bit for me. I may still try it, though.

  7. good luck, you can do it!
I'm still working in this years
    100+ challenge :)

  8. Hey Jen! I tagged you for a bookish meme. Hope you'll play! ;)

  9. Greetings! Just wanted to drop by and officially welcome you to the challenge. I am so glad you decided to join us!!

Hope you enjoyed my musings and I would love to hear what you think about them!
