Now that Christmas is over and 2008 is nearly over, what was your favorite Christmas/ holiday movie that you watched this year? Don't forget to stop by and check out my It's a Wonderful Life review!
I hope to have many more reviews on my Ladytink's Neverland in 2009!
My favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas (and my favorite song of all time is White Christmas). Runners up (or movies I watch every year): Christmas Vacation, Little Women (not totally about Christmas), The Family Stone, Charlie Brown's Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! I've never seen White Christmas but I loved Holiday Inn where Bing first performed that song. I really meant to get it this year but I never did. Which Little Women is your favorite? Mine is the one of the Katharine Hepburn playing Jo (I think it's from 1933 or 38?)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very retro cover! I don't think I've watched it yet but I'll that in mind...
ReplyDeleteI didn't even manage to watch my favorite Christmas movies this year. :-( As you know, I managed to watch the Lord of the Rings movies Christmas Day. When they each came out in the theater, hubby and I went to see the movies Christmas Day so they are sort of our Christmas movies. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movies though are the original Miracle on 34th Street and The Santa Clause.
watching A Christmas Carol is always a favorite of mine (the very old version and the patrick stewart version)..
ReplyDeleteShame on me, I havent seen this one yet.

Ladytink - Every year I say I am going to watch Holiday Inn and I never do. Maybe this year... I love the Little Women with Winona Ryder (small crush on Christian Bale).
ReplyDeleteAlice Teh: I just love old movie posters don't you? It's such a good movie! Hope you get to see it next year.
ReplyDeleteWendy: I watched a few, not as many as last year but still more than I thought I would.
DesLily: I read that book for the first time this year so I plan on watching an adaptation every year now!
Naida: Tsk, tsk! Really gotta see this one!!!
BookPsmith: Don't blame you, he's yummy! I think I actually have two copies of that movie lol.
